Which ports need to be open on firewall for LoRaWAN gateway?

Normally network firewalls permit all outbound connections. However, in some organization networks, only a few ports are allowed for tighter security purposes.

If you use TTN as your network service provider, use the following values. Otherwise, please consult your LoRaWAN network service provider's respective instructions.

Kerlink Wirnet iStation gateway

Allow for outbound connections:

• 1700/udp

RAK Wisgate / TTIG gateway

Allow for outbound connections:

• 8887/tcp
• 443/tcp

LORIX One gateway

Allow for outbound connections:

• 8887/tcp
• 443/tcp

or if legacy packet forwarder is used:

• 1700/udp
